Canevil can be seen as an observer and commentator who, through his works, portrays the everyday scenes that unfold around us, as well as social dilemmas, political conflicts and identity in modern life. This, with a humorous and occasionally serious presentation. The motifs are people and objects composed of relatable situations that take place around us, often satirical and metaphorical, with subtle touches and elements that refer to popular culture, consumer society, art history as well as our prehistory.

Canevil has been actively present in the urban art scene since 2014. The artist has a background in graphic design and studied art in the 90s. The graphic background comes to light through his use of techniques such as stencils, spray paint and paint, and occasionally physical objects such as textiles. The works are often carried out in a limited palette and the expression ranges from the rough two-coloured ones, to gentler images with several layered tones and elements of colour.
